The challenge is not filling the wall. It is knowing what belongs there.
ART IN CONTEXT
Statement Works
A single painting or wall piece selected to establish scale, focus and identity within the room.

Some spaces are better resolved through two or more related works rather than a single focal piece. Sovelle develops pairs and small series that introduce continuity, balance and a more considered visual rhythm.

HOW ART IS CHOSEN FOR THE SPACE
Sovelle works alongside architects, interior designers and project teams to source paintings, works on paper, prints and distinctive wall pieces that respond to the architecture, palette and identity of each space.
The scope can range from a single statement work to a coordinated art direction across multiple rooms — considering scale, placement, framing, visual rhythm and the wider interior concept.
Selections are developed in response to the architecture and interior scheme, creating presence without overwhelming the space.
SOURCING & SELECTION
Works can be sourced according to scale, medium, period, palette, subject and project budget.
FRAMING & PRESENTATION
Where required, Sovelle can coordinate framing, mounting and presentation so each piece feels resolved within its setting.
FLEXIBILE SCOPE
The service can support one key artwork, a single room or a coordinated art selection across an entire hospitality project.
OUR PROCESS
From curatorial direction to final placement
#1 CURATORIAL DIRECTION
We begin by understanding the architecture, location, guest profile and existing interior language. From there, we define the visual character, art direction and object vocabulary for the space.
#2 ART & OBJECT SOURCING
Selected works and objects are sourced from the Sovelle collection and through our European network of dealers, artists, galleries and specialist suppliers. Each piece is considered for scale, material, context and relevance to the project.
#3 PROCUREMENT & COORDINATION
Once selections are approved, Sovelle coordinates acquisition, supplier communication and project requirements. This can include availability, dimensions, condition, transport and delivery planning.
#4 PLACEMENT & STYLING
The final stage brings the curatorial scheme into the space through composition, positioning and styling. Where required, Sovelle can coordinate placement and installation with the wider project team.
